Barbara joined Transport & Environment in 2020 to build up the Clean Cities Campaign, a networked coalition of more than 70 organisations across Europe and the UK aiming to hasten the phase out of the internal combustion engine, while championing active, shared and electric mobility for a more sustainable urban future. Before T&E she spent 12 years working for Greenpeace, in various roles, including leading international transport projects. Barbara also works as a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Westminster in London, and she runs her own sustainability consultancy firm. She holds a Masters’ degree in Public Relations and Mass Communications and a BSc in Economics with an International Relations focus.
