Before embarking on a career as a YouTube presenter, Dave gained a BSc in Technology from the Open University and spent more than 30 years in retail and project management, dealing with people from all walks of life. That experience highlighted the importance of winning hearts and minds in any activity requiring collective action, and the value of remaining pragmatic and outcome oriented. Through his YouTube channel, ‘Just Have a Think’, Dave combines those characteristics with a sprinkling of wry humour as he addresses the climate emergency facing our civilization and investigates technologies that can reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and protect the lives and livelihoods of millions of people around the world, as we transition to a more sustainable future.
