David Owumi is a researcher, circular economist and global inclusive development champion. He currently serves as Advisory Committee Member to the Mayor of the West Yorkshire Combined Authority on Climate, Energy and Environment. He’s the founder and non-executive director of West Yorkshire’s circular economy startup, Qinq (Pronounced: Kink). Qinq is currently an awardee of the UKRI’s Global Business Innovation Programme and NorthernMax Startup of the Year. He is a prospective PhD researcher of Inclusion & Circular Economy at the prestigious University of Bradford, where he also bagged a Master’s degree in Sustainable Development (summa cum laude) with awards of academic excellence. Through service and entrepreneurship, He is living up to that potential with a demonstrated history of working in civic & social engagement
