A strategic and creative Partnerships Manager, Emilia Platoni works in the Performance and Engagement team at the national disability charity Motability. Its vision is that no disabled person shall be disadvantaged due to poor access to transportation. Emilia started her career in Westminster working on education and transport policy at the Local Government Association and then specialising in franchising and contracts at Rail Delivery Group. Emilia has led on policy across local and central government most recently leading transposition of EU animal welfare law at DEFRA. Now with a specific focus on electric vehicle charging at Motability, Emilia works across industry, government and charity towards addressing the injustice and challenges that disabled people face.
