Seigo is a sustainability and circular economy adviser, supporting governments, multinational firms, and start-ups on strategy, business model innovation and operations. Additionally he provides strategic guidance on the board of Zero Waste Scotland. Formerly as Head of the Centre for Remanufacturing & Reuse he spoke internationally on circular economy benefits and was part of the technical committee that developed BS8001, the world’s first circular economy standard. As a Churchill Fellow, he also investigated social enterprises using circular economy approaches from around the world. He also gained notable media coverage for his sustainability and circularity themed wedding. He holds a masters in Chemical Engineering from Cambridge University, an Executive MBA, and is finalising a PhD on circular economy business models.
